With Christmas over the one thing that is on sale everywhere is....Christmas stuff.

The problem is that there is a limited amount of the "good stuff" and what is often left for sale is the shoddy and cheap.

The quality of the chocolate that is used in this candy is not the finest but if it is on a deep discount then think of buying it to melt down and use in cookies, deserts or molds to make other candies. 

Chocolate usually sells for about $4 a pound or .88 cents for 100 gr. for a acceptable quality, if the regular price is cheaper than this then the taste might not be very good. Solid chocolate can be stored for a year with no harm to it ( see my article Storing Chocolate) but I only suggest this to people that truly have the will power not to eat it through out the year. 

While sometimes you might be putting out a bit more money in the beginning your saving will be showing within a year.

Savvy counterfeiters know that people crave these expensive brands and over the years have flooded the market with knockoffs at affordable prices.

Most of the best summer deals are out of the stores now but not the thrift shops. 

They are still loaded with the loot that was left over from garage sales. There are good quality new items in the thrift stores so spend some time looking.
