They show chickens that were highly valued at the beginning of the 20th century when even city dwellers might have a few chickens in their backyard so they could enjoy fresh eggs.
These illustrations are beautifully made and would look wonderful separately on stationery, letter head, gift wrap or in other paper crafts.
