punch bowlsIf there is one thing that I would never pay full price for or buy new that would be a punch bowl.

While many people feel that they have to have one during the Christmas season (I don't disagree) I do disagree with going out to the department store and just buying one nilly willy. (If you absolutely need one right now see if you can borrow one from an older friend or relative, they are more likely to have one).

These were the one item that I could pick up for a song when I was an antique dealers at any garage sale, thrift store, antique store and auction. As a matter of fact I have 6 punch bowls.

Why so many? I have never just used my punch bowls as punch bowls.

Building a Perfect Wardrobe on a Budget

Perfect clothesThere seems to be a time in every woman's life when she flings open the doors of her closet and even though it might be stuffed full of clothes she know that she has nothing to wear.

But lets be more specific, nothing to wear that is not ripped, soiled, faded, stretched out, too tight, wrong colour,  inappropriate, waaaayyy out of fashion or just horrible looking.

And while she keeps spending money on clothes she never seems satisfied with what she gets. So what's a girl going to do?

There is a way to build yourself a perfect wardrobe on a budget, but it does take time and it does take effort.

But the reward is that you will be able to go to your closet and KNOW that there are clothes in there that you love, look fabulous on you and cost a lot less than anyone would have guessed.
